I know I have been trying to write more reflections and poetry, and less updates and photo posts. However, I've decided the time has come for a throw-back to those update days, with photos of course, to share about a few fun events that have happened in the last month.
April 22nd: Lilly's Baptism
It was an absolutely beautiful celebration - matching her and her spirit exactly!
May 5th: Dad's 60th Birthday Celebration
Dad turned 60 in April, and we had a big party for him shortly after. Despite the rain, everyone had a great time at the party for our "Super Hero!"
May 12th: Kaylyn's Prom
It's hard to believe she's old enough already, but she is. Kaylyn went to prom with her friend; the day included fun with her hair (done by yours truly...which I can only say because it actually turned out and lasted), a pool-side dinner for her and several of her friends, grand march and dancing the night away.
May 18: Barefoot Day
The kids may not have celebrated by being barefoot, but they did enjoy the beautiful weather and lovely outdoors nonetheless!

Are you sure barefoot day isn't the 19th? For some reason I was thinking its may 19... that's when we celebrated anyway;)

Jenn, I used to think so too actually. But then the 'elders' of our family said the 18th the last few years, so I'm going with it. Can't complain about getting to go barefoot one day sooner!
PS. How come there isn't anything on your blog? I want to read about you and your pretty family :)
