Truly, Christ is Risen and is ALIVE and among us in our world!
For me, He has been most alive and present these last few days in the newly baptized catechumens of the church. I'm never more amazed at the profound power of the Holy Spirit than I am at the Easter Vigil, especially as we ask the whole community of saints to be with us in welcoming those who have chosen to join the church. Welcome!! And, despite all our faults, struggles and some changing relationships, I continue to find Christ in my family - just not always where I used to see Him. Thank you GOD for being in our world, our church and in my life! And HAPPY EASTER everyone - may the next 50 days be truly filled with Christ-alive!
