Update

Here's a quick update on our family:

Adrian turned 10 months old this week, and has been celebrating with about a zillion milestones all at once. The latest - since we've found him standing up in his crib the last few mornings, he will now be sleeping on a lowered mattress (which means buying his short-armed and big-bellied Mamma a step stool to reach him). He's a trouble-maker, but in the best way and continues to be an absolute joy and blessing to us!

Baby Three will be 26 weeks this week (hurray, we're almost to the third trimester!!) We had our mid-way ultrasound a little over a month ago (sorry, I'm only now finally getting photos up); that ultrasound as well as subsequent appointments/dopplers have shown a good healthy baby - another amazing blessing!

Mommy is getting BIG! Not sure if this Little Wonder is a bigger one, or if it's just all the Little Debbies I keep eating :) But either way, I'm outgrowing my pants a lot faster than I did last time. But my thyroid seems to be stabalizing again, and with the help of a new endocronologist (one who is not crazy!) and a wriggling little baby, I am feeling really good about things.

And in other news, I am really enjoying working with my new boss - what an incredible difference in the emotional/spiritual environment in our office now (and in the physical environment, since our painters finished up yesterday and we have fun new colors, curtains, and decor throughout, which is exciting). I find myself more happy and more energetic by the end of the day, and I no longer find myself thinking "Yeah right" when Mike says "Have a good day at work" as I take off in the mornings. It's still new, and a transition time with plenty of quirks to work out yet, but so far, so good!

And Daddy too continues to be doing well. His new boss was just appointed, so he's entering a transition time too. He's been home from Venezuela about a month now, after having had a great time! I don't think he misses the arepas yet, but especially after this week's snow storm is probably missing the beaches!

¡Gracias a Dios para todo!

Lenten Promises

One of my Lenten goals this year is to be more committed to reading to Adrian every day. As you can see from below, he is taking this goal quite seriously!
