Pretending to be a crazy southern woman

I'm in a Play!!

If anyone is interested in watching me make a complete fool of myself while trying to be an odd southern young woman in the play "Steel Magnolias" (the funny and heartfelt play that celebrates the bonds of friendship that sustain six southern women through good times and bad), now is your chance!

I will be playing Annelle in Kimball Community Playhouse's winter dinner theater production on March 6th & 7th. My Mom and my sister are also in the play, along with 3 other women from the Kimball community. It should be fun watching us look like dorks in unattractive 80's clothing and trying to do 'poofy' hairstyles at the beauty salon if nothing else :)

Here are the details for anyone interested:
Saturday, March 6th: Dinner Theater show:
Doors open at 5:00pm
Pre-entertainment/program begins at 5:15pm
Dinner served at 6:00pm (menu includes a "southern meal" with chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, corn casserole, lemon glazed sweet potato, homemade biscuits and peach cobbler)
Play starts at 7:00pm
Tickets*: $30 single; $50 couple; or $140 for a table of 6 people
*Note all dinner theater performance tickets must be purchased ahead of time. Tickets can be purchased at State Bank of Kimball, Chickadee Tree Floral and Gifts, Kimball Community Ed or by calling Robin Dockery at (320) 493-4765.

Sunday, March 7th: Dessert Theater matinee:
Doors open at 1:30pm
Play starts at 2:00pm, with a dessert served at intermission
Tickets: $10 adult; $8 for student or senior citizen. Sunday Matinee tickets are available at the locations above, or at the door that day.
